Choose a state, your utility and the upgrade. The calculator lists each open offer, adds up the ones that stack, shows income-qualified tiers, and says plainly that the federal credits for these upgrades have ended. Nothing is estimated: every amount is read from the program's own page.

The federal credits have ended
The Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (IRC §25C) ended for property placed in service after December 31, 2025. The Residential Clean Energy Credit (IRC §25D) ended for property placed in service after December 31, 2025. The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit (IRC §30C) ended for property placed in service after June 30, 2026. Those dates come from the IRS pages and fact sheet FS-2025-05 on Public Law 119-21. What is left is state and utility money, listed above, and the Inflation Reduction Act rebates run by each state energy office: open in North Carolina and Wisconsin; limited in Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Rhode Island and Washington; closed to new applications in California and Colorado; not launched in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oregon, Texas and Vermont, according to the state pages read so far. Read more on the federal status page and the utility offers.
Rebates are set by each program and can change or close without notice; the program's own page and application decide what is paid. This page is information, not tax, legal or financial advice. Amounts last checked October 21, 2026.
